As soon as this Chris-Craft arrived at Neptune, after being rescued from a shipyard in Galicia, this challenging refit project began with the complete dismantling of the boat, keeping only the fiberglass hull and removing all components remaining. The Neptune Yacht Refit Project team then completely sanded the hull, repairing small flaws, filling holes and cracks, rebuilding the engine compartment using composites and generally preparing the boat to receive a new paint job. The entire structure and components were painted and varnished. After this stage, all equipment and wiring were assembled, the new Esthec deck was applied and the new interiors were assembled with renovated upholstery. Finally, the electronic equipment was installed, the windshield glass was replaced, and the digital probes were installed and parameterized. This refit project ended with the installation of two new Mercruiser engines and completion of Sea Trials for final checks.
